My Week Off School (and boring revision)

Hi!

I haven't posted in a while because I have a week off school and I have been very busy! Unfortunately...I'm back to school tomorrow.

Anyway, it's been a good week! On Monday, it was Taryn's birthday and we went bowling. I came last in 2 games and second in the final game. Then we went to see A Good Day To Die Hard, which was pretty damn awesome. Chloe and I stayed at Taryn's that night and we watched The Woman in Black, Skyfall (which we paused half way through and had a 3 hour chat, before playing it again), The Rocky Horror Picture Show (which is probably one of the weirdest films I have ever watched!), Final Destination and The perks of Being a Wallflower. We woke up at 3 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon, so I spent most of Tuesday at Taryn's. Taryn and I got really hyper and started throwing skittles at her Daniel Craig poster, to the point where we were throwing them everywhere and Taryn threw the bag in the air.

On Wednesday, I went to my friend Maia's house and then she cam back to mine to stay. We watched the Hangover, which is such a good film. I love Alan and the Chinese guy, Chow. Bradley Cooper is yummy! Thursday was a lazy day, then on Friday I went to this place called The Think Tank with my family. It's like this science museum but it's very interactive and there are people doing experiments. I got to do the experiment where you mix cornflour and water and put it on a stereo, where it jumps all around. It was pretty awesome, because since seeing it on The Big Bang Theory, I always wanted to try it. On Friday night, Maia stayed over again and we ate M&Ms and Jellybeans which was fun. We watched a really cheesy film called Lovewrecked and then we watched The Dictator. It was funny, but such a weird film. Then we watched The Goonies, which is one of the best films ever (you have not lived if you have not watched the Goonies!). Yesterday was a lazy day for me and today I am writing this, when really I'm supposed to be revising for my French speaking exam.

I really regret taking French. I wish I took food tech instead, then I would have every lesson with Taryn! And I can actually cook!

Why do we get homework over the holidays? One of the reasons we have holidays is so we get a break from work. Homework ruins everything!

Last night I had this dream where this really cute guy off Glee (Blake Jenner) was my boyfriend. I think it's because his character, Ryder, likes this girl, Marley, but Marley likes another guy Jake, who she asked out because Ryder had to cancel going on a date with her because he found out he had dyslexia and had to see someone about it. Ryder and Jake fought over Marley but Ryder let Jake have her because he could tell that Marley liked him. Now Jake and Ryder are good friends and Ryder has to put all his feelings for Marley aside because Jake and Marley are going out. Until...the Valentines Day episode! Jake doesn't know what to get Marley, but luckily with the help of Ryder, he gets by. Ryder helps him perform a song for Marley and he arranges a bouquet of flowers for her which have her favourite flowers and he gives Jake a necklace to give to Marley. Ryder eventually says to Jake that at least one of the ideas should be his, but Jake just says that all his ideas are rubbish and he reveals that he just wants to get laid. I feel really bad for Ryder because Marley thinks it's Jake and Ryder sits there looking upset. I respect him for helping Jake though, and not trying to sabotage his relationship with Marley. At the end of the episode Marley goes up to Ryder and gives him a Valentines card and says thank you, because she knows it was him telling Jake what to do. Then Ryder kisses her (which she doesn't pull away from) and you just really want them to be together! Why can't some guys (particularly in my school) be like Ryder Lynn? He's so thoughtful.

Anyway, I better go and revise some more!

Bye! X x x
